How does the Hosting Reseller Program work?
By signing up as our Hosting Reseller, we give you the license to resell our Multi-Shared (ONE) hosting packages at any price you want, while you order these hosting packages from us through a resellers-only order form at special discounts.

What hosting packages are available for Resellers to resell?
You can resell any of our Multi-Shared (ONE) hosting packages.

What discounts are available for Resellers?
HostCONCEPT Hosting Reseller discounts range from 15% to 45%, depending on which Hosting Reseller Program you choose.

Is there a monthly quota of how many accounts that I must or can resell?
No, we do not force our resellers to resell a certain number of accounts per month, nor do we limit them. Becoming a HostCONCEPT Hosting Reseller is like running your own business where you decide how much profit you want to make without our interference.

How do I bill my customers?
As you are responsible for billing your own customers, it is entirely up to you on whether you prefer to accept payments by credit cards, checks, money orders etc. The quickest and easiest way to accept online credit card payments is to open an account with third-party payment processors like PayPal or Worldpay. Alternatively, if you have a merchant account, you might want to look for payment gateway services provided by companies like PlanetPayment or Authorize.net.

Who will support my customers?
HostCONCEPT Hosting Resellers are responsible in supporting their own customers directly. However, if you encounter an issue that you cannot resolve, you can always fall back on our technical expertise.

Do my customers have access to a control panel?
Absolutely. The Multi-Shared (ONE) hosting packages that you resell to your customers have the exact same features as the ones we sell directly to our own customers. The only difference is that your customers will have access to an anonymous-version of our control panel without no mention of our company name.

Do you have a user manual that I can use to help my customers?
Your customers will have access to our standard user manual through their own control panel. The user manual is anonymous and constantly changes to reflect the upgrade features we add to our servers.

Will my customers know that I am a Reseller?
No. Your customers will have no way in knowing that you are a HostCONCEPT Hosting Reseller if you add a private SSL certificate and personal DNS servers to your Reseller account. Even without these, your customers will still have a very hard time tracking and identifying you as our reseller.

What if they run a traceroute - can they tell?
No. HostCONCEPT will not show up in any traceroute that your customers run. The only identifying factor that will show up is that of our upstream provider, and since you could have purchased connectivity through them, your customers will not know that you are reselling with us. In fact, if they determine your IP address and run a reverse lookup on it, your domain name will show up as being assigned to that IP address.

On the other hand, if they run a Whois Lookup on your (or their) domain name, they will see our anonymous DNS servers listed. Of course, if you want your own personal DNS servers to show up when they do this, just add this service for US$25.00 setup and US$10.00 per month. You can then register and transfer domain names using your own personal DNS servers. Whois records will indicate (for example) NS1.YOURSERVER.COM and NS2.YOURSERVER.COM. We will continue to provide the DNS services, but your customers will see your personal DNS servers information in their InterNIC records.

How much Internet and/or Unix experience do I need to be a Reseller?
To provide a quality service to your clients, you will need to be familiar with the tasks involved in publishing and operating an Internet site. If you are familiar with FTP, HTML and perhaps other Internet technologies (such as SSL, POP, Telnet, Unix/Linux etc) then you should not have too much trouble, and we will be happy to provide technical support while you learn the ropes.

How is your billing handled? What is your billing cycle?
We will bill you directly for all monies due for your own account(s) and any resold account(s). You will then be responsible for getting payments from your own customers. You are free to charge your customers any price which you think the market will bear.

Payments due for additional accounts will be calculated on a monthly, pro-rata basis and automatically billed on the 1st and/or 15th day of every month. You can always view your monthly statements online through our Multi-Account Billing and Support Manager. We will also email you with a statement whenever a charge is processed.

The only and most important thing you need to do is ensure your credit card on file is valid and updated. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, American Express, Diners and JCB credit cards. We do not accept checks.

Do I have to share my complimentary account's storage space with my customers?
Whenever you order a resold hosting account, such as a ONE Professional account, the new account will have its own storage space allowance and features, and will not consume any of it from your complimentary hosting account.

Can I host customers in sub-directories of my own domain?
Unfortunately you are unable to host customers in sub-directories of your own domain (hosting account). These days, with domain names being so cheap, we have found that non-virtual hosting is not very popular. You can still allow your customers to use virtual domain names based on your own domain name (e.g. http://yourclient.yourdomain.com), you just require a separate hosting account for each virtual domain in order to do this..

Do I have to arrange the transfer of domain names?
We will provide you with the necessary name server information for you to arrange the transfer of you and your customers' domains. If you have your own personal DNS servers set up, you may want to use them instead.

How many Resellers are currently working with HostCONCEPT?
We currently have over 5,000 resellers of Hosting Reseller Program and Private Label Hosting in over 80 countries.

How fast are my resold orders set up?
All orders are setup in within 24 hours and under a first-come-first-serve basis. If an order is placed during normal business day hours, orders may be processed in only a few minutes. If an order is placed in the middle of a night, when the least amount of staff is on-site, orders may take slightly longer to process.

How do I become a Hosting Reseller?
Simple. Just fill out the secure order form for the Hosting Reseller program you wish to sign-up. You will receive details shortly afterwards about how to proceed with your new HostCONCEPT service plan.
